The Black Branch
Trauma Informed Ministry
About This Course:
Navigating trauma can be difficult for everyone involved. The church has historically been a safe place for those seeking guidance, community, security, and instruction. However, we do ourselves a disservice in forwarding those safe spaces when we are uninformed on how to identify when someone is in crisis or dealing with the aftermath of a traumatic experience. Registration for our trauma informed ministry presentation is now open and available via our group services tab. This is a great opportunity for ministers, practitioners, leaders, and all interested to learn how to navigate trauma in ministry, how it manifests, and resources available for use.
Religious Hurt & Spiritual Abuse
About This Course:
ThThere are many who have negative views of religious institutions and have turned from faith because of negative, harmful, and abusive interactions with religious institutions and people. Lack of training, lack of love, and the dehumanizing of people and their life experiences have forwarded negative life and faith outcomes for many. This training provides the public with evidence-based practices from a humanistic perspective which can help navigate the emotional, spiritual, and psychological aftereffects of religious hurt and spiritual abuse. Registration for this event can be found in our services tab.

You have to have the capacity &
the ability to take what people did, and how they did it, and FORGIVE them
and MOVE ON.
